Luis earned his bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Brigham Young University and his Juris Doctor from the J. Reuben Clark Law School. While at law school, he was able to set himself apart by being a finalist for the Woody Deem Trial Advocacy Competition, member of the Moot Court team, Lead Editor and then Managing Article Editor for the Journal of Public Law, teaching assistant for the Legal Research and Writing Class, and member of the Student Bar Association. During the summers, he spent time interning for the Honorable Michelle Leavitt in the Eighth Judicial District Court of Nevada and Fisher & Hunter, LLC.

Luis began his legal career as an associate at Fisher & Hunter after graduating cum laude from the J. Reuben Clark Law School. When not practicing law, Luis enjoys spending time with his family, reading, sports, and participating in church activities.
